Florida Everglades, February 2002

Trail Map: I brought my GPS along on our paddling trip and recorded our path (Download the path data here). Later, I downloaded the USGS map for the area (Homestead, FL 1/100,000). Then I manually laid the path onto the map in Photoshop and tried to get it to fit. It turned out pretty good. Both the outbound and return tracks are shown.

I couldn't find any GPS coordinates for the chickees online, so here are the coordinates for the two I visited: Hells Bay: 25.253373 N, 80.878590 W. Pearl Bay: 25.259521 N, 80.856221 W.
