Slowing down for the silence is in "D" Major but it starts on a Bm7 of sorts. Its actually a D2 that I hit the A string and hammered onto the B of the A string before strumming the rest of the chord. I do the same type of hammer -on from the E to the F# before strumming the Dmaj9 (just moving the middle note down a half step--- it sounds more complex then it is. the only other weird thing I did was the G chord to a Gmaj7. if you want a chart i would be happy to send it.
